I just traded a 340U gas on a 560 diesel, The 340 was a great little tractor, however on my small farm I needed a tractor with a few more ponies under the hood. Mine had a 2000 IH loader and it was a great loader tractor. The only thing to look at on a 340 is the breaks seem a little weak for a tractor this size and the steering gears, they were most likely good when they were new however 45 years of loader work had mine sloppy.
