I have a '46 Farmall A that was converted from a magneto to a 12 volt alternator and coil setup. It got quite a workout this weekend harrowing my hay field for about 6 hours. Afterwards while using it to move some implements around it quit running and the coil was very very hot. I assume I burned it up. There aren't any markings on the coil other than saying it is 12V. Does anyone have a make and part number for a 12v coil that I can use for this application. I know if I go to NAPA or Auto-Zone and ask the counter guy for a 12v coil for a farmall tractor all I'll get is a very confused look. Thanks in advance, MattMO
