"Thinks it's getting fuel?" Loosen at least half the lines at the injectors and crank it over to see if it's REALLY getting fuel. (As you probably know, keep fingers and other skin away.) Once you have fuel, check the glow plugs. May be a bad relay, or all 8 may be burned out from battery boosting/excessive cranking while trying to get fuel system bled after running out of fuel.
