They are talking around $2.50 a gallon come summer,that would make diesel around $2.75.Right now its gas $2.00,diesel $2.25. Some countries like Germany have had $5.00 a gallon prices for many years..so US pricing compares favorably.But of course the US is the land of the bigger,is better approach and we have always liked big cars/big trucks/big tractors...and now we're all going to pay for it. I vote with my wallet,and the only gas hoggers I have are snow-plow vehicles....and they rarely see road useage.The 40mpg cars get daily driving duties.The 300U drinks the gas at a so-so rate,but I'm sure a later 6 cylinder would get far worse.Plus I'm no diesel fan... I'd be the only guy to rip out a IHs/Hough's diesel in favor of a 440 Chrysler or something like that! LOL
