He didn't ask for the best tool box just the origional one. Great if no one thinks they are good! That is what makes the complete origional tractor special, hard to find, desireable, unique! The search is most of the fun of collecting. I find book after book of "somewhat" restored tractors. I like to find the origional to look over. Most of the questions on this post are asking "what is origional?" How do I place?" "What is this?"
We can make this whole board go away for the people that just want a running IH Whatever. Just go buy a IH service manual! No one will ever have to post again. If you come here to read about people progressing on their projects and friendship then it will be a sad day when the discussion board closes down. I wake up in the morning and wonder what my "friends" here are up to. I just don't think I will feel the same way about rolling out of bed and rushing downstairs to grab my IT manual.
AS far as money. I don't know if Allen is wealthy or not. Don't care I like him. I hope he has money and is willing to spend his hard "Earned" dollars on what ever his fluttering little heart desires as I wish the same for you all. You can't take it with you. I've seen people try. They usually end up being screwed into their graves by a bunch of people that wish they were at home watching the game or working on their tractor rather than standing over a mound of dirt.
That being said. I do thank "ALL" the contributers to this board. I have learned much and saved some really big bucks by not buying all the service manuals I would have needed.
