I really feel sorry for you people that don't get snow or -30F like we do in central MN. It just wouldn't seem like winter without it. Although today we have 33F so I might go and work on my tan if the sun comes out. I've heard the comparison one time that how sheep can look so white in the green pasture and yet so dirty in the pure white snow. No matter how good we try to be we are still filthy compared to God and one day we will be washed in the blood that was spilled for us! So yes God is good.
