I"ve been busy replacing the TA and removed the clutch and carrier from the TA and kinda goofed up (maybe) when I removed the large nut and toothed washer that holds the clutch carrier on the splined shaft. My concern is the toothed washer. Does the toothed washer have a indexing tab or tooth on it"s INSIDE edge to index it to the splined shaft? I ask this because when I drove off the large nut, I did not realize that the washer was behind it and kind of bent the toothed washer, and MAY have sheared off this indexing tab, IF there was one. As luck would have it, I put the whole thing back together before I got to thinking about how the heck the nut could be held on without some sort of indexing tab on the inside edge of the washer. I would appreciate any type of advise on this.
