Mr Guitar Man, In 1951 a brand new Farmhand was delivered to our SD farm. It didn't have the push-off attachment. As a boy I didn't realize that it was probably a lack of money that it didn't have it! Wooden teeth. A number of years later we put on all steel teeth and the long-coveted push-off. We thought we had the world by the tail. I can still hear our dad hollering up to me on top of the stack of prairie hay to "keep those edges out!" He deprecated little stacks as "chocolate drops!" Best, HMR BTW, I'm listening to The Flatlanders' newly discovered CD recorded live in Austin in June 1972. Jimmy Dale Gilmore does most of the singing. It's great!
