Aftermarket vs. Original Battery Box Parts - A/140

Really appreciate the information given on this board. My 140 is six volt and was mfg. in 1959. It is missing the right side, end piece and top cover pieces of the battery box. It looks like I have two choices: a. Buy the missing components from Case-IH for a small fortune or b. buy an aftermarket two piece (top cover and unitary battery box. Anybody have any experience/ comments regarding replacing original type battery box parts versus going to a unitary battery box?
