Dan, if you want to compare that compressor oil to Mobil's regular oil, go to this link and the other in my previous post. If my car had 300k miles and used a quart every 1k miles, I'd use it to top off and maybe add a cup of Rislone each time but like I said earlier, I dont think I'd change my oil using it. CNKS, your point about reusing used oil is valid but Dan said this oil is virtually as clean as new and since a compressor doesnt have combustion properties mixed with it, it will be much cleaner than used motor oil. Another good use would to be put this oil in your oil can and use it around the house/shop for gerneral lub - bearings,shafts,door hinges, etc.
