I just wanted to get back to you on the slow race that I had asked about for rules a few weeks ago. We had the slow race here this weekend. We used a 100 foot lane, got an official judge that conducts the tractor pulls at the county fair and we had 16 participants. A great time was had by all! There were 9 Internationals (3 M's, 2 cubs, a 400, 856, 1206 and a 966). We had a rule that the tractor had to be a minimum of 30 years old. There were also 4 JD's, one old D on rubber, one B, one 3010 gas and one 4010 diesel. Also had 2 Fords, a 3000 and a 700 along with one Oliver 770 gas. We conducted it like a wrestling match with the winner of each match up of 2 tractors, advancing to the next tier of rounds. The final round for the championship was between a 1971 966 with 38" rubber and a 1961 3010 gas on 15.5x38's. The Deere won by no more than 3 inches, it was very exciting! Both drivers are looking forward to a rematch next year!
