You will also want to thoroughly clean the gas tank. That old gas and varnish in the tank will come back to haunt you if you don't get it all out. Wouldn't hurt to clean and rebuild the carburetor also. Before cranking the engine, remove the spark plugs, and squirt some auto trans fluid in each cylinder, and then crank the engine over slowly, by hand if possible.
