Hi CN, Why in the world would anyone use the front or the rear of a mounted cultivator separately? Neither way would work worth a darn to my mind. :>( But, I think you're right in your line of thinking. I would assume that some folks just mistakenly think that all those shanks are in themselves called "cultivators". :>) This has gotta be a city boy/country boy thing! :>) Allan
