F-20 project

I am currently putting a 1939 F-20 back together after tearing it down and painting it. The one thing I don't remember is whether there are cloth strips between the hood and the gas tank and between the hood and radiator. I know there are strips under the gas tank on both supports and also under the metal straps that hold the gas tank down, but can't remember about the hood. I hope someone can help. Thanks! Shadow77
