Steve: My memory is a bit rusty on this however I seem to remember that 3000 loader being advertized as a loader for utility type tractors. I wouldn't rule out it fitting on 706 with a few modifications. I had a 2000 loader and remember at the time 3000 had just a bit more rating. Could really never understand it not being available in a Farmall version. The sub frame that mounts on tractor will be where modifications are needed. I have seen other loaders supposedly designed for utility type tractors and quite easily mounted to row crop type tractors. I did one myself, a Wagner loader that came new on a Cockshutt 540, I mounted that loader on a Farmall 300. Only changes necessary were actual mounting at front and rear of tractor. In my opinion the Cockshutt utility was never enough tractor for the loader, but the Farmall 300 was much better. Those old Wagners were about twice as heavy as they needed to be.
