Am having problems with firing on 100 Farmall worked fine for months and started missing and 10 minutes later was towed to the barn (by my M John Deere) found the points arcing intermittently. Replaced points and cond. but problem remained. Found a crack in the coil and changed it and it is not firing at all now. Points dont seem to have the "bite" they should have. Any ideas would be entertained at this point. Does anyone have any experience with the solid state conversion kits? Thanks JD P.S. God bless the engineer that packed the distributor in by the oil filter canister.
