I have two magnetos. One makes a tractor run like a top. The other the tractor won't hardly run at all. On the bad one, I put new points on and the tractor ran fine for a while. I ended up switching the magnetos around a couple of times to troubleshoot different things and now the bad one will barely run at all. the other day, the tractor would not start at all. I cleaned the small part of the points really well and the breaker as good as i could get it without taking it out. tractor finally started and ran on all cylinders but rough. then it died after 5 min or so. i know its timed right and i know the firing order is right and i know the cap and wires are good cause they work fine with the good mag i have. gapped at .013 or as close to that as i could get. these points are not that old. maybe 10 hours on them at best. did i just get a bad set of points or did i do something to make them go bad faster? what else could it be? Thanks for the help. Jeff
