stupid S.O.B's with screw drivers

I was in my local Case/IH,John Deere dealer today getting some pieces and there was a guy in there with a tag in his hand getting some parts also. I got to visiting with him and he was getting brake disks for his tractor,he did'nt have anything to write on so he took a screw driver and popped off the serial number tag to get the right parts. He told me he was just trying to get everything fixed so he could sell the old tractor this fall. It was completly none of my buisness but this really pissed me off.Somebody is going to buy that tractor and where do you think the ser# tag is going to be in a year or so? It sure as heck ain't gonna be on the rivets on the side of the tractor where it belongs,all because of a lazy sob with a screw driver. I have had tractors without # tags and they are hard to get the right parts for sometimes. Do me a favor and PLEASE DON'T REMOVE THE TAGS.
