We have two 1066's and a 1086 that have all been great tractors. The 1086 has a little heavier rear end (same as a 1466 or 1486) and is nicer for field work although I prefer one of the 66s for chores and odd jobs. Our 1086 has almost 10,000 hours and the 1066s have 4,600 and 7,200 hours on them. The cab on the 86 is alot nicer although they do ride rough, we put an air ride seat in our's last winter which solved the rough riding problem. As far as repairs we really haven't seen any difference between them. The 1066s were rated at 115-125hp and the 1086 was rated at 131hp but our 1086 left the factory running 150 as did most of the 1066's.
