Thanks Stan, The C-135 is out of a rough terain fork lift that I was told was based on the farmall 330. I think I ran into what you are talking about before I overhauled the engine when I looked at an old combine engine. The bell housing was round, not hip roof shaped. The C-153 is in a constructall 2500 backhoe which is the same as a 504. I overhauled it last year (010 crank,rings and bearings, two reconditioned rods and one new piston) It apparently has an internal crack somewhere i couldn't see as I now have oil in the radiator.
