kerosene v gas? Kerosene flash point: 100 degrees F minimum, autoignition: 410 degrees F. Gas less. Gasoline vapor at lower temperature explodes with spark, Kerosene needs 100 degrees at least to vapor/flash point/explode with spark/flame. Kerosene can be used diesel or turbine/jet engine relatively safe- is close to 1 diesel, gasoline NOT so safe substitute. Tractor fuel- use in multifuel/distillate engines when warmed. Canada- check BP stations. Might find in camping supply stores in cans for lanterns. What are you planning to use it for? RN
