Number of Farmall BN's produced

I was just wondering, does anyone know the exact number of Farmall BNs made? I have been told that it was about 1500 by someone who restores Farmalls, but I've also been told that there were 15,000 BNs made. I've never heard an exact number, does anyone know for sure?
