If after warm up it is a steady “pop” in the exhaust (like every time the cylinder fires) I suspect that the exhaust valve gap is too tight. As the engine warms, the valve stem increases in length and the gap shrinks, possibly to nothing and then the vavle won't seal correctly. I would check the valve clearance (needs to be done with the engine up to operating temp) fist and make sure it is up to spec. If this isn’t the problem, you probably have an exhaust valve or seat that is going bad and as you mentioned is only showing up after compression comes up when the engine is warm. Good luck!
