Hi Jim, Ouch!! Bad time for that thing to go out! Sounds like the clutches are slipping if it "tries" to turn. I'm not an expert at these things, but the big dogs tell me that if you nose the tractor down in a road side ditch or some such thing, you won't have to drain the oil. You'll probably want to unhook that big NH3 applicator first to give you room to work. The unit is self contained, so you should be able unbolt it and pull it out of there while tipping the "forward" end down. That's what I'm told, at any rate; I've never had to change one tho. Hope you get 'er goin' 'cause that corn is a growin'! Do you have a little tractor that you could use to run the pump while your filling? You could just turn the pump 90 degrees on it's mount temporarily. You should be able to cock that tractor/applicator enough to let the little guy in. Tryin' to help, Allan
