Way back when Hector was a pup and he died 25 years ago i had a 1977 I H 4300 semi tractor with a 350 small cam Cummins and since Detroit has never built a car fast enough for me i always had to make it better well that followed me into the trucking and i had to make that Cummins run and did i ever , we never did get a true Dyno reading on it as the day we did have on the Dyno they just got done doing a new experimemtal KTA 1150 600 hp and had turned it up 20 % and they layed down 475 hp at 55 MPH then they put mine on and in 12th gear of a 13 speed we had 478 hp at 65 MPH and only had reached 34 lbs. of booste when she broke the chain and went out the door and under full load i would get 68 lbs. of booste she wasn't even breathen hard , that truck would take 115000 lbs up over Bald Eagel on I 80 at 72 mph. and this turned up 550 Cat that i am driving now has a hard time with 92000 up the same hill at 62mph. That old 350 ran like that for 385000 miles before eating a piston Soooooo we just rebuilt it and went back at it till i had enough of the trucking.
