Allan: My 1066 was as it came from the factory, nothing was ever touched to make it turn more hp. Yes it did put out 150+ hp the 3 or 4 times it was dynoed, but so did a lot of them. I've talked with a lot of new 1066 owners who experienced much the same. In fact of all the 16 or so Farmalls I ever had only one did not exceed its rated hp. That was the 504 gas. That was the one thing IH had going for them, their tractors did measure up at the dyno and in the field. At least the US built ones did.
