Does it have good oil pressure? Does it have good power? If it does, it's a good diesel. Who cares what the exhaust looks like. You probably have some oil past the guides and maybe past th rings too but if it's running good otherwise??? What ya gonna do??? Spend a lotta money and get rid of the blue???
