freeze plugs

how do i get to the freexe plugs on my 140 farmall 1977 31311 rockford i pour water into my radiator and it comes out from the bottom of the bell housing area. I removed the sheet metal plate and cant see the freeze plugs i have several books but none really show where the plugs are nor how to get to them to replace them. thanks for your help everyone
