I look here once in a while. RZ gave a pretty good short explanation. As far as I know, the only tractors to ever have such a system were the A/B/BN series. The basic parts of all the systems were all the same size. They were mostly used with ground working equipment -- plows, cultivators, etc. It was also used with a highway mower on the IA. I once saw a picture of a bulldozer blade on a B that was lifted with 2 of the 7" lift cylinders. It was on a WWII vintage soil conservation project and probably a one off hand built blade.
