I would be interested in seeing other's thoughts here too. A retired mechanic I know has told me several times not to put platinum plugs on anything without an HEI ignition or a hotter coil because the platinums are actually harder to fire (meaning takes a higher voltage) than the standard plugs. I have seen no documentation either way, just wondering other's experience? Stan(VA).
