The 154-185-184's did not use an engine temp gauge. You can add one if you like. You will need to drill a hole in the lower engine water pipe to locate the sensor probe. This will give you an accurate engine temperature reading. The Cub series are thermosyphon, so they tend to "self regulate" quite well. They also do not have thermostats.
