F12 Seat Change

I've been looking through many Farmall books at pictures of several different F12's. Some have a straight up and down seat post and some have a curved more forgiving looking seat. My 1935 has a curved seat post. I was wondering when they changed from a straight seat post to a curved or if the purchaser had the option. Any info would be great.
