If your gauge has condesation its not venting if its a sealed one you have a leak (need to fix seal with it dry . You will note on the new gauges by IH there is a small hole at the bottom of the gauge. If this doesnt solve the problem a friend of mine put a small hole opposite on his JD to solve it.Getting the gauge appart you simply work I use a screwdriver )GO SLOW. The real trick is getting the edge to seat back down so you cant tell you were in there. This is lengthy to explain without pictures,so when I get the ball rollin on this I'll make up a sheet that will go along with the decals.There wont be a big cost probally under $5.00 . Ebay is my tool to get it out there to the people who need it . Each sheet will do multiple gauges / configurations.So depending on how many tractors you restore in your lifetime one sheet will probally last forever.Plus depending on how good a modeler you are .You can use anyones gauges to make what you need.But me myself prefer ones from IH .Look at the bright side , if I start nipping into the repro guys business maybe one of them will finally wake up and make a gauge worthy of some of our restorations.I'd prefer not to do this but they have left many of us with no choice, or I should say "alot of bad choices" EDDY
