The sheet metal is pretty good, except for the whole in the front grill....see pic. I'm not sure how I am gonna fix that. Luckily, the motor is in good shape. While I don't know much about the history, my guess was that it was rebuilt, repainted (like with a brush), and then got little use. Eventually one of my neighbors bought it, and let it sit for 10 years in a barn, occasionally starting it. Here it is right after I got it:
He offered it to me for $400 bucks, I'll probably have less than 900 into it when it is like new, based on my parts and to do lists. She'll be a wagon hauler I guess. I needed this tractor like a hole in the head. Where are you located. That land sure dosn't look like anything around here (Upstate NY). And as for your BN, that is one serious undertaking. I redid a AC B about 15 years ago that was in that bad of shape......I know what you are facing. Hang in there, it's very rewarding. Here is one I saw at Empire farm days for inspiration:
If you find a spare grill on a donor machine, I'd be willing to buy it. I also will be looking for front wheel weights, and a manifold. By the way.....keep the pics coming.....I'll try to do the same. Take Care Steve
