Hi Jeff The 1566 had 6+3 speeds, the 1466 had 8+4 and both could have TA. 1566 had planetary reduction, and wet discbrakes, the 1466 had bullgear reduction, and dry discbrakes. 1566 had no diffe- rentiallock, the 1466 could have something similar to a diff.lock but only locking 70 percent.
