I need a 340, don't I...come on now, encourage me

First I must apologize for the length of this post.
'Once upon a time...many years ago', when I was a small boy, I received a toy Farmall 560 tractor. This tractor has provided me with countless hours of pleasure. Now, to the present, 40+ years later. When I decend the stairs, I look up at the farm toys, positioned around the red-wooden barn my grandpa built and gave to me for Christmas in the early 1960's. There, off the corner of the barn is my 560 with the McCormick spreader attached. I don't think I have seen a tractor with styling I like better. I have had eyes for a Farmall rowcrop 340 for several years as the lower profile would go into the garage or barn. My late girlfriend said she was going to buy me one and I said '...no, you have other needs to spend the dollars on'. I spotted one a couple years back, forgot the location for probably about a year and then found it again while driving the backroads of the county as Sheri and I liked to do, with cameras in tow. I have taken pictures of it as it is 'posed nicely in a good rural, agricultural structure', except for that ugly tarp in the foreground, rats! The sheet metal is good, three-point system along with the two-point drawbar, rear tires are good, front are fair. Fairly clean engine, TA works,lights/gauges intact. Converted to a 12 volt system. Seat is bad, no battery box cover. Rims look good. Paint is faded. I am meeting the owner tomorrow to start/run the tractor. [now here is where I show my superior full-blooded Norwegian intellect, by asking this ? on a Farmall discussion board] should I buy this tractor? Asking $2800. There is a rear blade attached now, but he was just talking about selling the tractor. I do like my 2N with front blade for plowing. Maybe I can get something rigged up for a front blade on this tractor. So much nicer to plow going forward. Don't know if that would become part of the deal or not. Thinking 'cash America' can be a persuader to acquire the 340. My mind is made up but I wanted/appreciate input. And hey, I don't have a grownup Farmall yet. From the farm, Al
