Hi, when my dad bought his uncle's farm in 1949 there was one similar to that one in a shed at the end of the barn. It was horse drawn 5 ft. cut. From another uncle, I have the original bill of sale from IH Company of Canada LTD. dated June 30, 1942 for 1 Deering Mower total $105.70. It does do specify model number. JB
