Farmall A. Can it be converted to Super A???

I first want to thank all of you here who have been so much help. I have been just cruising around here and asking some.

Seems another or two have just gotten A's and (at least in my own case) I don't know my head from a hole in the ground. *G* This board, and a 1947 "A" seem to take an old musician to another place. A nice place.

At any rate -- can I change a few parts around between a Super A and my A to incorporate some of the improvements?

I guess I am all hung up on the hydraulic and hitch stuff. I hope you all will be patient.
I have a 1947 Farmall A, that somehow took the hearts out of my wife Judith and I both at first look. Pretty? Not too much. She needs a little TLC. Maybe a lot.

Also, along the line someone had painted this poor lady yellow. Judith saw the combinations of the yellow and the red that was covering a lot of it, and named her Prissy Farmall on the spot. She has three hours on a freshly rebuilt engine. New pistons, sleeves and everything inside the block.
New starter, new battery. Good tires. Rusted wheels and a few other spots but those are the things that make ya notice I guess. Got a pretty nice tractor though. Steering fairly tight. New clutch and engine. Good transmission and the tin and iron can easily be cleaned and painted.

Since this tractor will never leave our family and the collector's appeal will never be an issue, should I convert to Super A as much as I can? If not, I will do as one kind soul said and figure out how to do the job anyway. Well, with help from some friends.

What can I do to make Prissy the best she can be? Maybe even sometime a loader? I trust you all on this, because as I mentioned, I am less than a rank beginner. Music and digital audio teching for cutting edge companies has been very, very good to me. But now I want to ride my tractor for a while and tinker on my ten acres. Sorry for rambling.

Will appreciate any concepts or ideas greatly.
