I agree, except I recommend the tank be full. The idea is to eliminate as much condensation as possible. Stablizer is a must. I also change the oil just before storage. Old oil contains acids that will eat at gaskets and seals. Get it GOOD AND HOT, then drain the oil, change the filter, refill with fresh oil, run for a couple of minute to distribute it through the motor, and park it. Taking the weight off the tires is a pain to do, but worth it. Air pressure in the tires will go down from the cold and from inevitable leakage, and you will eventually damage the sidewalls. Easier to block it up than to pay for a new set of tires.
