I sold a perfect original IH wide front a couple years ago for $400 - that was cheap. Consider yourself lucky if you can find a good original IH for that price (tie rods out front). Used Schwartz are easy to find and cheaper to buy, and they are built stronger. I put Schwartz heavy duty wide front on my H, plan on having a loader for it someday. I've seen several original IH wide fronts for sale, ranging from $250 for a poor one, all the way up to $900 for a perfect one with good paint, wheels, and tires. If you really want original, I might be able to get one from an M (if it is still there) for about $600, would trade for narrow front and $500. Good luck!
