did you plastiguage the bearings?? this is the only true way to find a clearance problem other than removing the crankshaft.. You may also have a problem with the cam bearings (generally not a problem), or both pumps may have issues. One thing to check is the oil pump regulating valve & spring. a faulty one will cause a low oil pressure problem (had this on a freshly overhauled cub until valve & spring were replaced). Another thing to closely examine is the oil pump pickup, as it may be plugged or may have other issues..
