RB, the TA system uses planatery gear sets to obtain the low range. Even if your TA is adjusted correctly it will not come out of gear for the following reason. Planatery gear set will not rotate backwards. If your tractor is in direct drive (TA forward) and in a forward gear on a slight up hill angle with your clutch in, the tractor will have rear ward pressure on the planatery gear set and will not come out of gear very easy. This also applies if say you were in reverse and backing up a slight incline. It doesn't take much pressure against those planatery gears to cause a slight bind. When you pull the ta lever back and it comes out of gear easy it is because you are releasing the TA clutch. With my tractors I can tell if the tractor is going to roll back a little when I stop so I just clutch and shift out of gear just before for momentom stops.
