willy, i dont know if this will help you or not. you say its a 404 international. ok, on the 404 farmall the fill for the tranny is located near the gear shift. it takes, i think a 3/4 square drive to remove it. in the rear left of the tranny case on the 404 farmall, there is a small plug, 1/4 inch drive. this is the fill level of the tranny. just add fluid from the top till it runs out the little plug in the back.. like i say, this is for a 404 farmall. i dont know if the 404 international is the same or not. take a look. it might be the same.
