Farmall 460 Torque Amplifier

Finally bought my first tractor. Farmall 460. Suspect though that I may have a non operatonal TA. Drained housing. Fluid white from water. Only about 4 gal in it. Manual says it should have 10. Puzzled as to where to put fluid. Three compartments of which one with clutch appears to be dry on purpose. Replaced filter on side and filled two outer cavities from top with 10 gal fluid. Manual calls for a sight tube or a overflow plug to check fluid level. My tractor has neither. This manual is very confusing. Many points called out in the book are not on this tractor. Are there that many deviations? Can anyone tell me the proper method to get oil into the unit? How big a problem do I have if I have to rebuild the TA? Located in the Rochester NY area.
