Yesterdays Tractors page listing serial numbers for Super A Farmalls states "The Serial Number is located on the left side of the clutch or transmission housing". Other references I have say the Serial Number is on a metal tag inside the right side seat bracket. I bought used replacent seat brackets and a Serial Number tag was on the inside of the right side seat bracket. (The original seat brackets had been removed from my tractor) I haven't located any stamped number on the clutch or transmission housing, so is the Yesterdays Tractors statement false?
