Hi all!, it's been a few years since i've been on this site, life has been very busy!, I finally got my 46 super a going( actually my wife's, she asked for something red with four wheels for her birthday)with a lot of help from my uncle. It turns out the mag was away out of timing as well as being weak. Now, the the problem I have is the mag sparks fine when turned by hand, but when the tractor is running i only get two leads firing, the leads are fine, and the cap and rotor are new, any ideas where I should look inside for possible problems?. Secondly, I just had the starter redone but it has a threaded battery cable post on it , as someone in the past had put a floor mounted switch on it, I have a new original type switch, can i file down the threaded post to mke a proper contact for the switch or do I have to get the starter shop to replace this post? what kind of post or stub do they originally have as i have never seen one up close. Getting ready to paint the remaining front half this weekend and hope to put her to work soon! thx
