Most books claim something around 16-1/2 mph for the M at 1450 RPM. They will run faster, no-load RPM is 1550-1595, which would put top speed with 13.6 tires at 18.15 MPH. And then You can adjust the governor to over-rev. the engine to run as fast as You want, or mount over-size tires to increase that. Those old green tractors could never keep up with RED tractors, either in the field or on the road.....I think a 720-D was only about 12-13 MPH tops, and You don't really want to over-rev. the engine on them either.
