Good luck finding those. Those are probably the most hard-to find IH part there is. The story I've heard goes like this- when the 240 first came out, it had some overheating problems. Everyone figured that those side panels trapped hot air under the hood, so they took them off and threw them away. The only other model's side panels that will directly interchange with your International 240 is the Farmall 240, which is rare to begin with, so one that still has the side panels will be impossible to find. The Farmall and International 340 side panels have the same pattern, but the part number is different, and one guy told me that they are shorter in length. The International 460 Utility is supposed to have the same pattern, but will probably be longer. The Farmall 460, 560 and International 660 side panels are taller and the pattern is different. Your best bet is to look into the length and pattern of the Farmall/International 340 and International 460 Utility side panels, and cut them to length for your 240. You could also try to find a metal fabricator who would make you new side panels based on the pattern of your short panels that run along side of the gas tank. That could get real expensive, though. I wish you luck, and please let me know what you find out if you look into the 340/460 side panels.
