What's better for a 140, pull type or 3pt bush hog

I've got a 140 and would like to use a pull type bush hog with it. I understand that there's some trouble with turning with a pull type cutter. I've got about 4 acres to cut a couple of times a year with a good bit of turning involved. Should I just bite the bullet and get a 3pt hitch for the 140? I've got a "free" 5ft cutter that needs deck repairs that I'd like to fix and use. The belly mower I have is just about shot and couldn't handle the thick bull grass I've got to cut. Would I have to take the pto out of gear every time I'd turn? Thanks for any advice! Jacques
