Hi, can you determine which cylinder is missing? If you can determine which cylinder is missing do an injector swap to another cylinder and see if problem follows injector. CAUTION: FUEL LINE FROM INJECTOR PUMP IS UNDER ABOUT 2100 PSI PRESSURE and WILL PENETRATE SKIN AND CAUSE BLOOD PIOSIONING. WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES and EYE WEAR WHEN DOING THE FOLLOWING. To determine bad cylinder will engine is running loosen nut on fuel line into injector util fuel leaks. If engine runs worse this is not bad cylinder. Re-tighten nut and try the next cylinder. Repeat until you find bad cylinder. Then shut off engine and mark and swap suspect injector with another cylinder. Becareful to tighten the two hold down nuts on the injector evenly so injector will seat properly. Leave the input fuel line nuts on the swapped injectors loose to allow bleeding of air. Start the engine again and tighten the fuel line nuts on the injectors. Repeat the test for bad injector but now only doing on the two cylinders that you swapped injectors on. Does problem follow injector or cylinder ? The good news would be that the problem follows the marked injector. Bad news is cylinder. BE CAREFUL WITH HIGH PRESSURE DIESEL FUEL JB
